If Any of You Lacks Wisdom
A 13 lesson study of "the wisdom from above"
This Bible study book focuses on the "wisdom from above" as described in James 3:17. In it, you will find a study of the attributes of the wisdom from above, its benefits, and how to obtain it. Beyond this, you will find a categorical listing of many of the Proverbs of Solomon to aid you as you strive to develop the wisdom from above in your life.
The Lord said that He will grant wisdom “liberally and without reproach” if we will only come to Him for it (James 1:5). Join us as together we heighten our knowledge of this wisdom and increase our hunger and thirst for it through a study of God’s Word.

The Essence of Living Faith
A 13 lesson study of "The Faithful Hall of Fame" in the 11th chapter of Hebrews
Since “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17), the essence of living faith is taking that Word, hiding it in our hearts (Psalm 119:11) and then putting it into action daily. Some of the best examples of living faith are found in the eleventh chapter of Hebrews, also known as “The Faithful Hall of Fame.” You are invited to join us in a thirteen lesson study of this monumental chapter. In it you will discover faith in the hearts of God’s people that led to amazing accomplishments on earth and blessed reward in heaven. We, too, can have this faith and, with it, we too can overcome the world and celebrate victory in eternity (I John 5:4).

Hope - Anchor of the Soul
A 13 lesson study of the Bible's teaching on hope
Who among us does not want to have hope? It is that precious commodity that lifts us up when we have fallen and keeps us going when we feel like quitting. The world's perception of hope is limited to matters of this life. The Bible's definition of hope transcends a worldly view and raises it to a spiritual level that benefits Christians both in our daily endeavors and in our preparation for eternity. Hope as it is presented in the Bible is not a mere wish or crossing of the fingers. Because it rests upon the rock-solid bed of God's Word, it is an assurance and confidence that can help us maintain a powerfully optimistic attitude while it strengthens our commitment to walk faithfully with the Lord.
You are invited to study hope from a Biblical perspective in this 13 lesson book. It has been designed to challenge you with thought-provoking questions, excite you with some of the many promises God has made to those who walk faithfully with Him, and build within you the hope that is available through greater knowledge of God's Word.

The Greatest of These Is Love
A 13 lesson study of the Bible's teaching on love

It considers what God's Word has to say on a variety of matters regarding this vital topic, from God's love for man to some examples of forbidden and mistaken "loves." Each chapter ends with practical exercises and challenging discussion questions designed to lead the reader into a deeper understanding of and appreciation for the love that God has for us and the type of love that we are to have for Him and for one another.
Grief Recovery

In the Lap of God - Comfort From the Psalms
A look at Psalms of comfort for the troubled heart
The writers of the Psalms faced difficulties. Whether they were dealing with persecution, loneliness, grief or even the prospect of death, they knew there was a source of comfort to whom they could turn for relief. While providing for their every need, this “God of all comfort” (II Corinthians 1:3) to whom they turned inspired these men to write of their anguish and of the strength they received from the loving Lord.
The book is divided into three parts:
- Part 1: Psalms with Themes of Comfort; an analysis of 21 Psalms
- Part 2: Individual Verses of Comfort; a series of affirmations based on verses from the Psalms, including, "I Can Learn from My Troubles," "I Can Have Confidence in God's Care," "I Can Rely on God's Word," and more
- Part 3: Personally Sitting in the Lap of God; posts from a blog entitled, "A Couple Conquers Cancer," written by Michael and Shannon Gifford in the closing weeks of Shannon's life
Those who seek comfort today can find it in the Psalms. This book looks at these Psalms of comfort from the perspective of one whose heart has been broken by the sorrows of life but mended by the power of God’s Word.

A Walk with Grief
Do you feel alone in your grief? This brief book will help you see that others have gone through what you are facing now.
"Will this gnawing pain ever go away, or am I doomed to spend the rest of my life in sorrow?"
"Has anyone ever felt what I'm feeling right now?"
If these thoughts have crossed your mind as you grieve over the death of a loved one, then you will benefit from learning that, yes, others have gone through what you are going through now.
This book takes you through the first year of one man's grief following the loss of his wife of 30 years to cancer. While no two people experience grief in exactly the same way, it's very likely that you will find here similar emotions and questions that have filled your days and disrupted your nights. Read and take heart in knowing that you are not alone in your feelings and that you CAN survive your journey through grief.
